Premiere Improvements installed a Whole Home Solar Panel system as well as a whole home battery backup. From the first contact I had with Taylor and Chelsea, they were very knowledgeable and friendly. As the project progressed, I spoke with several others from Premiere including Brian. All were excellent to work with, very responsive and very thorough. Even when I changed the design at the last minute, Premiere was willing to make last-minute adjustments without issue. I would highly recommend Premiere Improvements for any project where they can help.

With energy prices continuing to hike in CT, it was time for my family to migrate over to solar. After doing tons of research and talking to numerous solar installers, Premier Improvements Solar was our choice. Their team was top tier in hand-holding us through the entire process, start to finish, sticking to their timelines and offering support when it was required. Adam, Taylor and the owner, Brian (their whole team, really) were transparent and awesome to work with. Highly recommended so far! If you're looking for solar in CT, these would be the folks I'd work with.

I recently had a Franklin 13.6 kWh add-on battery installed to complement my existing solar system. After receiving quotes from four different installers, I found Premier to be significantly more affordable than the rest. From the outset, their professionalism stood out. They assigned me a dedicated customer service representative, project manager, and technical lead—each of whom was consistently responsive and helpful throughout the entire process.

Premier kept me well-informed at every stage and ensured the project stayed on track. What impressed me most was their clear commitment to delivering a top-tier customer experience. The final installation was seamless and executed with a high level of craftsmanship.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Premier to anyone considering an add-on battery or a complete solar system—they exceeded my expectations in every way.

After researching and meeting with several other solar companies, I decided to go with Premiere Improvements Solar. I am so glad I listened to my son, as he chose Premiere to install his solar panels.

Right from the start, the entire team was a pleasure to work with. Adam, Valter, Taylor and Chadwick are all truly good people, very honest, knowledgeable and attentive to my concerns.

Recently, we had an issue where my system was down for about two days. I reached out to Taylor and she immediately took action. By 10am the next morning, Edrick was at my front door and within 15 minutes my system was back up and fully operational.

There are many companies out there that can install solar panels on your roof but as far as I'm concerned, there is only one that is totally committed to excellence in customer service and doing the right thing by their customers after the installation is complete and that company is Premiere Improvements Solar. Let the sunshine! 🌞

Questions About Choosing a Solar Company in CT

Who is the best solar company in Connecticut?

The best solar company for your home holds a valid CT license, uses proven equipment, backs its work with a written workmanship warranty, and earns strong reviews from real customers. Premier Improvements is a veteran-owned West Hartford contractor with a 4.9-star rating from 81 Google reviews and CT Lic. #HIC.0659657.

What is the best solar company to go with?

Go with a local company that designs, installs, and services its own systems. Compare the license number, equipment brands, workmanship warranty, and recent reviews. Ask who handles service after the install. A company that answers those questions in writing before you sign is a company worth hiring.

Which solar company has the best reputation?

Reputation shows in the volume and recency of reviews, how a company answers complaints, and how long it has served your area. Check Google reviews, the CT license lookup, and how the company responds to low ratings. Premier Improvements is veteran-owned and based in West Hartford.

How do I check if a roofing company is legit?

Ask for the contractor’s Connecticut home improvement registration number, then look it up on the CT Department of Consumer Protection license search. Confirm insurance, ask for a written warranty, and read recent reviews. Our registration is CT Lic. #HIC.0659657.

Are the reviews on this page real?

Yes. Every review on this page comes directly from our Google Business Profile. We feature our 5-star reviews here. Our overall Google rating of 4.9 stars from 81 reviews includes every rating we have received.

Does Premier Improvements install roofs as well as solar?

Yes. We install Owens Corning Duration shingles with full ice and water shield, and we often replace the roof before a solar install. When we install the roof, our roof penetration warranty runs 25 years instead of 10.
